In August, LendingPoint, reached a milestone. We surpassed $100 million in loans made to approximately 10,500 valued customers. This achievement makes us proud — mostly because in the less than two years since our company began, we’ve given that many people access to money when they needed it. As a result, we’ve helped them on the way to becoming financially stronger.
Those who don’t know us yet might wonder, “Why LendingPoint?” There are plenty of online lenders out there — what makes LendingPoint special?
You see, we do things differently. By understanding a consumer’s full financial picture rather than just looking at a credit score, we help people with credit scores in the 600-700 range who are on their way up. As our founders like to say, we want to understand a consumer’s past, but we care more about their future. We are proud to give our fair credit customers loans with fair rates and flexible terms so that they can choose what works best for their unique circumstances. At LendingPoint, we keep things simple and focused on how to improve the lives of our customers. That’s why we originate the loans we make ourselves and keep them right here, in-house, to service for the life of each loan.
